Amen Mode ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.
Information We Do Not Collect
Amen Mode is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers. Specifically, we do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or contact information
- Your location data
- Your browsing history or app usage data
- Any information about which apps you choose to guard
- Your Bible verse reading history
- Your streak or usage statistics
Data Stored on Your Device
All data generated by Amen Mode is stored locally on your device and within your iCloud account (if enabled). This includes:
- Your selected sacred hours (morning and evening time windows)
- Your guarded app selections
- Your streak and reflection history
- Your app preferences and settings
This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
Screen Time & Family Controls
Amen Mode uses Apple's Screen Time API and Family Controls framework to provide app blocking functionality. This is processed entirely on your device by Apple's system. We do not have access to which apps you block or any Screen Time data.
In-App Purchases
Amen Mode offers optional premium subscriptions and a lifetime purchase through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store any payment information, credit card details, or billing information.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, Amen Mode will send local notifications on your device. These are scheduled locally and no notification data is sent to our servers.
Analytics
We do not use any third-party analytics services. We do not track your behavior within the app.
Children's Privacy
Amen Mode is not directed at children under the age of 4. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
