1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Amen Mode, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
Amen Mode is a faith-based digital wellness app that uses Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls framework to help users pause before opening selected apps, presenting a Bible verse and a moment of reflection before granting access.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 4 years of age to use Amen Mode. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Premium Subscriptions & Purchases
Amen Mode offers optional premium features through:
- Monthly subscription — billed monthly through your Apple ID
- Yearly subscription — billed annually through your Apple ID
- Lifetime purchase — one-time payment through your Apple ID
All purchases are processed by Apple. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
Free trials, if offered, will convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand.
5. Refunds
All purchases are subject to Apple's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. Please contact Apple Support for refund requests.
6. Screen Time & Family Controls
Amen Mode uses Apple's Screen Time API and Family Controls entitlement to provide app blocking features. By using these features, you acknowledge that:
- App blocking functionality depends on iOS system permissions granted by you
- We are not responsible for any unintended access to blocked apps
- Screen Time functionality may vary based on your iOS version and device settings
7. Intellectual Property
All content within Amen Mode, including the app design, graphics, and code, is owned by Amen Mode and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Bible verses are in the public domain.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Amen Mode is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Amen Mode shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
